  1. Having been a Millcreek resident at two different addresses for over twenty five years I just want to comment on how nice the yards and homes look this year. Homes for sale are few, those for sale are moving quickly, and young families are moving in. The Board of Governors is very active, and lots of good things are underway at the Millcreek MS Rec Club. Thanks to all the homeowners and volunteers who are working hard to make Millcreek a wonderful place to live!

  4. On Sunday April 20th from 2 to 5 Millcreek Rec Club held our “2012 Open House”. The Club feels it was a great success! About 75 people attended to swim and welcome the summer. The Club also provided a lifeguard on duty.

We served Banana splits and punch to our entire attending guest. We served chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry ice cream. Plus all of the fun toppings which included: different colored sprinkles, chocolate syrup, whipped cream, and cherries. I was amazed by how many children do not eat bananas on a “banana split”!

In preparation for the Open House the Club planted new plants to brighten up the appearance of the pool. Trimmed all of the bushes, weeded the flower beds, replaced the mulch, and cleaned up all the decking around the Pool. Within this new season the Club had to replace two of the pool filters. With plenty of vacuuming and chemicals the pool was crystal blue and clean waiting for the swimmers.

Since our Open house The Club has had four new members join.

Look for new visual changes to come!

Thank you all for your help and dedication to keep MILLCREEK beautiful.

    Summer's Here
    Summer's here!
Another year of school is at an end.
We've learned a lot and grown a lot
and made a lot of friends.
    We'll say goodbye,
    now summer's here,
it's time for us to part.
But we'll remember all our friends
and keep them in our hearts.

  7. I was wondering if there will be a neighborhood garage sale this year? I have been looking for updates on this annual event and have not seen any yet. Maybe I missed it. Is there anyone that knows some details about this event? Thank you.
