Lost Cat

This cat has been meowing piteously all day, so I finally broke down n gave him some dog food and water. He ate all the food n came over for me to pet him.

He has no collar, but he seems very tame compared to the feral cats in my parents' neighborhood.

It was hard to get a proper photo, but here's one. Sending others in separate emails. Do you know him OR would you like to own him? Please send to others in Millcreek.

Thanks,
Susan Weatherholt

Letter to the Community

Millcreek Place Maintenance Fund
104 Westlake Drive
Brandon, MS 39047
April 2, 2012

Dear Neighbors:

As you are aware, the Board of Governors of Mill Creek Place Phases 1, 2 and 3 have started the process to obtain a Court Order allowing the residents of Mill Creek to amend the covenants.

A copy of the draft Petition is presently posted on the neighborhood website at www.millcreekplacems.blogspot.com.

We are currently accepting comments through April 15 on the draft Petition.  After all comments, suggestions and concerns are gathered, we will file the Petition in the Chancery Court of Rankin County.

At the time we file the Petition, it will be very important to have as many residents join in the requested relief as possible.  Therefore, we will be personally asking for each lot owner(s) to sign a document very similar to the attached Waiver of Service of Process.  Please reply to this email if you are willing to help gather signatures for this effort.  Thank you for your time.  If you have any questions about this process, please contact our attorney and fellow neighbor, Troy Odom, at 601.992.4477

March Reports:

Real Estate Report:

Currently the market is very active especially in price ranges below $200,000. There are no active listing in Millcreek Place. Interest rates are still low, varying around 4% for a 30 year fixed rate mortgage; less for a 15 year fix rate mortgage. As you know the best way to maintain values in our neighborhood is to maintain our individual properties by keeping our homes in good repair, maintaining lawns, adhering to the covenants and good neighbor codes. Potential buyers ride through a neighborhood and form an impression. The impression that is formed dictates what someone in willing to pay to buy a home in that neighborhood. Millcreek Place is a great place to live and has a great reputation. By working together, we can keep it that way!
