Codes & Covenants

 Following is the Millcreek Place Good Neighbor Codes which all residents are expected to honor:
1.      Vehicles should not be parked in the street or on lawns to avoid safety hazards, but ONLY in garages, carports or paved driveways.  This code does not apply to visitors in homes or at the Millcreek Club.
2.      Store or park trailers, campers, boats, motorcycles, recreational and all terrain or inoperative vehicles from street view.
3.      Vehicle maintenance, other than routine upkeep, should be done in garage or area not visible from the street.
4.      Fences are governed by Article 7 of the Protective Covenants.  No fence taller than 48 inches or any metal fence should be constructed beyond the front wall of the home.
5.      Homeowners should not discard such items as yard trash, dirt, limbs, grass clippings and similar debris in the street, drainage ditches, sewers, gutters, culverts, creek, vacant lots or a public right-of-way.
6.      Garbage can, recycling boxes and trash should be placed at curbsides as close to pickup time as practical.  These containers should be retrieved and stored from street view.  Containers should be secured to avoid animals spreading debris.
7.      Each resident or homeowner is responsible for keeping the property street curb and gutters clear of dirt, weeds, and other debris.  Owners of vacant lots and/or houses are also responsible for maintaining their property in good condition.  Cutting grass on vacant lots continues to be handled according to current practices.
8.      All unused materials or debris involved in property improvements should be disposed of or out of view.
9.      Radio or television towers or antennas over ten(10) feet above the ridge of the roof are discouraged.  Satellite equipment should not be visible from the street.
10.  Protective Covenants allow only for a single family dwelling and garage on each lot.
11.  Residents are encouraged to abide by Article 13 of the Protective Covenants, which addresses loud noises within the neighborhood.
12.  Residents are expected to adhere to Rankin County Leash Law, which states it is “unlawful for a person to permit any animal to run at large within any platted or recorded subdivision in Rankin County”
13.  All homeowners are expected to be responsible and courteous by scooping and disposing properly any poop deposited by a dog they are walking though Millcreek Place.
