Millcreek Place is composed of three subdivisions (Part 1, 2, and 3) with 194 homes. Part 1 includes homes adjoining Westlake Drive, Millcreek Drive, and Millrun Road. Part 2 are homes adjoining Greenfield Place and Westridge Drive. Part 3 are homes adjoining Waterford Road, Christopher Circle, Shelley Lane and Michael Cove. Each Part has Protective Covenants which are almost identical.
A Board of Governors comprised of three residents is elected annually by the property owners. The election is held on the second Monday of May of each year and each lot owner is entitled to one vote for each lot owned. According to the Protective Covenants, the responsibilities of this volunteer Board include the collection and expenditures of the Millcreek Maintenance Fund (tax ID 64-0685855) which is collected annually in June. An annual fee is established by the board of governors (presently $75).
The purpose of this fund includes maintenance of any facility designed for the benefit of the property owners. This Board is also authorized to approve plans for new home construction or exterior design changes to existing homes. Additionally, the Board promotes a Good Neighbor Code, and assists with special projects designed to enhance the quality of life in our community. Block Leaders are selected from each of the subdivisions to promote the security and communications throughout the community. A list of the Block Leaders is shown on the Leaders and Activities Page. The board of Governors and Block Leaders encourage participation by all residents to serve on various committees that address a variety of issues. Please contact any of the Board members or Block Leaders if you have questions, interest in serving on a committee, or would like to participate in any special events.
